High Explosive Special Effects

Sometimes in film and television, the only way to make a BIG explosion is to use High Explosives. Our senior technicians have been trained in the fine art of High Explosives Special Effects. We use Cordtex, Semtex, Dynamite and Cutting Charges, each of which can be precisely controlled using our computerised firing system. HE Effects can also be synchronised to music.

We also use High Explosives on people to simulate the effects of Gunshots on the body. Using minute HE charges to burst blood bags and clothing eliminate the flash and smoke you get from using traditional pyrotechnics.
