MVS Hazers Endorsed On Uriah Heep's Into The Wild Tour - 12 December 2011
Le Maitre’s Multi Venue System (M.V.S.) Hazer is the ONLY haze machine that rock legends Uriah Heep will use.
Currently on their “Into The Wild Tour”, covering a huge number of dates around the globe, the band’s lead singer, Bernie Shaw had this to say:
“With Uriah Heep playing on the world stage now in excess of 40 years, we’ve worked with most effects companies hazers and smoke machines at our concerts all over the world. We’ve found Le Maitre’s MVS hazers to be the best, and now have them on our technical rider.
With 5 singers in the band, we need a product that does not dry your throat, is tasteless, odourless but efficient and reliable enough to make the light show look good, but not hinder our performance. A very tall order that Le Maitre hazers handle with ease.”
“Out on the road for some 229 days in over 22 countries! Playing as close to home as London’s Shepherds Bush Empire, to as far a field as Vladisvostok and Venezuela, Uriah Heep try to keep the same high standard show in whatever country we’re in at the time, in terms of audio and visual and performance. If we’re lucky, we have our own back line and technical rider, but sometimes it’s left to whatever the local sound and light companies have left in their warehouse. For this past year though, there’s one bit of kit we never left to chance – our Le Maitre MVS Hazers! Compact, SUPER efficient,SUPER economical, almost silent running, self cleaning, etc. but most of all, the haze itself. Non-irritating to your eyes, nose or throat no matter how many shows we were playing in any given week,in what ever size venue we were in. Some other machines leave a film on your amp or guitar, let alone YOUR SKIN! Le Maitre haze is clean and odourless. It lets you get on with the show and just does what it’s supposed to do.. make the lights look GREAT!
Am I making a big deal about these hazers? HELL YES, to get all the boxes ticked by one company in this day and age is amazing to say the least. In Heep’s opinion, they are without doubt the best hazers out there, I’ll never go on a stage without them”.

This year’s Relentless Energy Freeze Festival at Battersea Power Station in London was the biggest – and, it’s widely agreed, the best – yet, with over 18,000 people passing through the gates on Saturday alone, and some truly world-class snowboarding, skiing and music throughout.

Le Maitre were on-hand to light up the skies, firing Red Mines and Crackle Mines as skiers and snowboarders sped down the slope.
As the first of five skiers left the starting gate Crackle Mines lit up the dark sky, and as the fifth and final skier descended the ramp a pair of Red Mines ignited.
A final pair of towers were situated at the foot of the ramp, either side of the Kicker and as the skier took off from the Kicker and hit their highest point in the air, Red Mines and Crackle Mines were fired with spectacular effect.
