Established in 1980 by Karen Haddon, a founding partner and Director of Le Maitre Ltd. Le Maitre Events employ a team of experts dedicated to design, augment and deliver any type of special effects at any type of event.
We pride ourselves on being a truly unique set up, with a remit ranging from plain and simple advice, through to organising the logistics of a global tour. Our team of experienced designers and pyrotechnicians are always on hand to offer advice for the smallest show to the largest extravaganza. They can design and fire shows for Rock ‘n’ Roll tours, corporate launches, television and films, down to smaller events and private functions.

Le Maitre Events is a division of Le Maitre Ltd, a manufacturer of stage pyrotechnic, smoke, haze and special effects machines established in 1976 by Rick Wilson, Harold Berlinski and Karen Haddon.
Le Maitre Ltd are the largest manufacturer of pyrotechnics in the UK, providing 95% of stage pyrotechnics used in the UK. They are one of the only companies with the resources and experience to specialise in the R&D and manufacture of explosive effects, with the most modern and efficient production facilities in Europe where they produce over 500 different products.
Le Maitre Ltd. manufactures in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire and Mitcham, Surrey. Sales are through a network of distributors across Europe, Asia, Africa and S.America. In N. America they have their own company – Le Maitre USA LLC based in Austin, Texas.
